Founder
Cynthia Chiang is a seasoned B2B marketer with over a decade of experience, known for creating impactful, pipeline-driving campaigns and events. She began her journey in events at Hazelcast and spent the majority of her career at Branch, where she led marketing for the Americas as Marketing Director, focusing on enterprise and strategic accounts.
Her passion for bringing people together through meaningful experiences led her to launch Fractional Events—a consultancy that helps B2B businesses harness the power of events to grow faster and more efficiently. With over 1,000 events under her belt, she brings deep expertise in strategy, logistics, and storytelling to every engagement.
Whether supporting unicorn startups or scaling new programs, she’s always excited to plan the next unforgettable experience.

Co-founder
Katherine is a seasoned B2B marketer with over a decade of experience across agency, platform, and in-house startup environments. She began her career in China, spent time at Bing, and has been based in Seattle for the past ten years — building demand gen programs and field marketing campaigns for high-growth B2B companies.
Known for her player-coach approach, Katherine has spent the last four years in marketing leadership roles where she owned channels, hit pipeline goals, and worked closely with sales to build the processes that turn events into revenue. That cross-functional perspective, understanding exactly where the marketing-to-sales handoff breaks down and how to fix it, is what she brings to every engagement at Fractional Events.
Outside of work, Katherine teaches intro to digital marketing at the University of Washington and recently co-organized the Female Founders Retreat, a reminder of her passion for building programs end to end and watching them come to life.
